Delhi Government Introduces ‘Sugamya Sahayak’

In order to qualify for the benefits of the scheme, individuals must have a disability that is 40 percent or higher, as verified by a disability certificate or UDID card that has been issued by a medical authority that has been authorized under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
Residents of the National Capital Territory of Delhi are eligible to apply, provided that their family’s annual income does not surpass Rs 8 lakh from all sources. Furthermore, the applicant must not have obtained the same item within the previous three years from any other Delhi government program, UT government program, Central government program, or other source,” the Delhi government stated.
